Today was a rainy day but don't let that stop you from looking at properties. If you have a few houses on your wish list go check them out. Here are a few reasons why you should not let the rain deter you from looking.

ROOF LEAKS - This is how you can check to see if the roof is good. Leaky roofs is a major cause for needing a new roof because it will surely leak while it's raining.
ODORS - When it rains odors tend to be more noticeable and this is when the nose detector comes in handy for MOLE. It will be a musty, mildew smell. Yikes!
DRAINAGE - You will be able to see how well the drainage system works in the properties you like. This could pose a plumbing problem and can we say EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!! Also termites live in moist areas, so you want to make sure you know that their is not water building up underneath the house.
If possible take a professional with you or your Realtor to help you notice the signs of a bad property.
